You silly little sheep you.
I will give you this started about EV’s but it’s bigger than that.
You see in about 5 to 6 years I will retire handsomely from an oil major. Just like the 3 generations of MEN in my family before me. And I will never bite back at the hand that feed me and my family. I stand for something and will not fall for anything.
My point about closing refineries is not about EV’s. It’s about jobs.
The runway to get off of fossil fuels is a very long runway. Fossil fuel will not go away any time soon. To many products come from it. The closing of refineries is about supply and demand. NOT GAS OR Diesel OR EVEN ABOUT JET FUEL. It’s about all of the other products that will go up with inflation because they are will limit production and influence future markets. This will effect all of us.
I’m thinking about the future of jobs in our state and the opportunities of our kids.
Not to mention revenue for our parishes.
