So far, 4 programs have received a notice of allegations stemming from the FBI investigation. Here are what they are for and what the results have been

Kansas
quote:

Kansas received its Notice of Allegations from the NCAA on Sept. 23, 2019. It included alleged Level 1 violations and cited a "lack of institutional control." It also mentioned a secondary violation between the football program and former coach David Beaty that involved uses extra coach during a practice.
They have denied all allegations and received no punishment.

Auburn
quote:

At the heart of the case is former Tigers assistant Chuck Person receiving bribes in exchange for his influence on players signing with certain financial advisors. The case dates back to September 2017, when FBI agents arrested Person as part of a wide-ranging investigation into corruption in college basketball
They self imposed a 1 year post season ban and Pearl was suspended for 2 games.

Arizona
quote:

Arizona finally released Friday the notice of allegations it received from the NCAA, and the charges include an alleged Level I violation against embattled coach Sean Miller and an overall institutional control charge against the program.

Former assistant coach Emanuel "Book" Richardson pleaded guilty to one felony count of conspiracy to commit bribery after being accused of accepting $20,000 to steer Arizona players to aspiring sports agent Christian Dawkins. During Dawkins' trial, prosecutors played an FBI-intercepted call in which Richardson told Dawkins that Miller was paying $10,000 a month for former player Deandre Ayton.

Arizona self imposed a one year post season ban and fired Miller. However, Miller had missed the tournament the previous 3 years and was likely going to be fired regardless.

NC state
quote:

JULY 10, 2019. Among the allegations are two Level I violations, which are the harshest the NCAA hands out, and two Level II violations. Giglio explained the Level II violations stem from giving Smith complimentary tickets to games and a parking pass for a football game, while the Level I violations are related to his recruitment.

According to Giglio, former head coach Mark Gottfried—who is currently the head coach at Cal State Northridge—received a "failure to monitor" charge as one of the Level I allegations. That charge is related to the other Level I allegation, which involved assistant coach Orlando Early reportedly securing a $40,000 payment for Smith's family during his recruitment.

NC state paid a fine, vacated wins, and went on probation 2 years later.

So far, the programs that have received NOA's have either self imposed a 1 year ban, leading to additional punishments, or flat out denied allegations (Kansas), and have gotten no punishment 3 years after an NOA was levied. Every other program has monetary amounts, arrests, or traced payments to players.

LSU has this
quote:

In 2017, Wade was caught on FBI wiretaps with aspiring agent Christian Dawkins discussing a “strong-arse offer” for prospect Javonte Smart,

Need to take the Kansas way and say frick the NCAA. I personally don’t think they have anything and have been trying to sabotage Wade for 4-5 years now. I don’t even see LSU having to self impose a postseason ban either.

What about this?

In NCAA documents obtained by ESPN in August 2020, there's allegations in NCAA paperwork that Wade either arranged or offered "impermissible payments" to at least 11 prospects.

If true, tPear is an idiot to pay in 2020 after the smart arse offer crack down in 2019.

Can he get time served as punishment? He was already punished IMO when Alleva put him on leave a couple years ago. and also i think they turned down postseason NIT bid, am i correct?

This wasn’t under Wade.

That’s about as simple and as eloquently as it can be done. Thanks! The football shite happened years ago and the NCAA is trying to jumble it altogether as a rogue athletic department. Hopefully SW and ME have discussed this over the Holidays.

There are 0 allegations of anything post-2019. You are reading an old story rehashing old info.

And on top of that, Smart was apparently cleared by the NCAA because he was allowed to play in the tourney that year. So NCAA has nothing.

I know about the suspension back in 2019 (you serious? That long ago?). As for NIT preseason, I could not tell you I don’t know.

Wade’s lawyer ripped that allegation to shreds the NCAA has nothing, it’s all speculation and assumptions without any evidence.

“Obtained” in 2020, doesn’t mean it happened in 2020.
