Clearly smaller countries need collective protection against insane states with irrational beliefs.
Look at the disruption in the worldwide economy due to Russia's behaviors. Peace means more trade. War interrupts trade.
Trade is a vital component of the West and why we're the most advanced grouping in the world, socially and economically.
