Plus seeing the mayor going around maskless all over the place during mardi gras. People will never accept the "rules for thee, not for me" bullshite.

I'm all for public safety, but when you institute a mask mandate after hospitalizations and deaths go dramatically down even after cases rose (meaning omicron isn't nearly the threat that previous variants were) it's just an attempt to take credit for "ending" covid.

I never really wear a mask anymore, but will when a restaurant/bar asks me. These places didn't enact any of these mandates, they're just trying not to be fined/shut down.

Same. If I'm asked to wear it, I will. I realize most places that still ask aren't doing it because they want to. They are just trying to stay in business and not get attacked by the Teedy Mafia.
