That's the catch, man! He doesn't WANT to lower the price. He wants us to spend $80,000 on an electric car so we can save $80/month on our gasoline bill. In addition, he's beholding to AOC and the progressive wing of the party that WANT high gasoline prices to force into having to use "green energy" and stop killing the earth from pollution.
