It’s guaranteed that TSA will confiscate any significant amount of money they see on a scan in luggage. They get a kickback/reward for this from Customs or law enforcement. You then have to prove in Court that you earned the money and the Feds usually make you an offer to only give you back 50% or they keep you in court forever. Welcome to giving up your Constitutional rights for the war on drugs.
