It's Carb Day, the last chance to check out the cars before the race. I think the rain delay has cut the total track time from the scheduled 2 hours to 1.5 hours.

At the moment, three Ganassi cars plus Sato are at the top of the speed chart, as they have been for the last two weeks.

They've just had the 2nd crash of the two-week lead-up to the race. David Malukas passed Santino Ferrucci on the inside approaching Turn 1. He had almost completely cleared Ferrucci when Ferrucci turned into Turn 1 and his front wing end plate cut Malukas's right rear tire, sending him into the wall. Three corners are smashed up, so Malukas's mechanics are going to be busy getting the car back in shape.

There's no way Ferrucci was unable to see Malukas, Malukas was almost completely past him when it was time to turn.

Ferrucci has just been penalized with a black flag, he is parked for the rest of the session.
