Has anyone played Wildermyth?

I recently bought a PC, maybe the first one in 20 years, been using laptops and consoles forever. I've been playing Crusader Kings, still trying to figure it out mostly, but Wildermyth is something I've been wanting to check out. Anyone spent anytime with it? Opinions?

ive spat it out as suggestions a couple times here. i loved it. its got a quaint art style that might turn people off.
the little branching events and decisions you make that shape your characters is pretty neat.
my one knock on it is that the turn based strategy system is very, very, rudimentary.
