6 SPEED OR 8 SPEED?
6L80 are junk. Most tranny shops won't rebuild them, you will get quoted for reman product which is a slippery slope unless you verify the builder. Let me know and I can tell you about the builder.
8L90 have been doing well for GM compared to the 6 speed.
I reprogram most installs in our area, and we've seen a ton.

Do Not go to transmission depot , in Abita Springs. Thats all I'm saying.

I have a 2017 Silverado, 130,000 miles. Just replaced the transmission with a rebuild not from dealer, about a month ago. I'm getting 2-3 mpg less with the rebuild. Thoughts on why this would be happening? TIA
