Sorry. It appears you have never flown a helicopter. They all have gyros (copters and quads). But on a helicopter it makes it slightly easier to control the boom. But there is still skill involved.
I had several for years. Helicopters are way harder to fly than a drone (quad). I can take a quad and be flying in 30 seconds. A copter you need to practice in very specific steps with a lot of room. Practice hovering first and then work your way into forward flight. Then when its coming towards you you have to change perspectives to control direction. It's challenging but pretty fun. I never got into the.3D tricks that seem to be all the rage these days.
