It could if there is a hydrocracker and extra hydrogen is needed. Unless a naphtha reformer which produces 97 octane gasoline and provides hydrogen for desulfurizing gasoline, diesel and jet fuel It would have made the biggest fireball over any other unit in the refinery.
Actual units are lost in translation plus from sources that have little technical knowledge.
