France could easily supply 5,000 - 6,000 troops and far quicker than the USA could get there. That isn't counting SF units. They have been well trained, way more than Ukraine or Russian troops.

I highly doubt that French, Polish, or any other western troops would be deployed to the combat area. They would be used to increase and improve the training of Ukrainian troops. Contrary to public opinion Ukraine doesn’t have a shortage of bodies. It has over 9 million military age males to draw troops from. Ukraine’s problem is it has maxed out its training capacity and that is preventing it from being able to come up with enough trained soldiers to replace the ones who 2 year term of military service is expiring.
