Opec (led by Saudi Arabia) will not allow this to happen... as much to protect their own position in the oil market but also... well, while circumstances are currently placing Saudi Arabia on the opposite "side" from Russia, no non-democratic regime wants to find itself as the last one standing, so they have thrown the lifeline seemingly for no reason already.

2. The entire West needs to shift to a Wartime Economy... to defeat Russia in the short term and China in the long term.
