Didn’t get to see game. Curious on how he looked and what MPH he was sitting at and topping out at. TIA

I thought he looked nearly identical to last season. Threw mostly fastballs, low 90s, good run. The off speed he did throw was trash.

He threw strikes
The only two pitchers who had bad outings were lansville and Shaffer but it’s their first time on that stage

I have a feeling helmers will be a weekend starter based on comments from Johnson
He held him for la tech

You have to miss bats in sec play and Floyd throws a lot straight

I agree. I didn't see any glaring differences in his mechanics. He's what I call a "thrower"...not a "pitcher".

Having said that he can be useful. I just don't see him as a consistent weekend starter.

I prefer Cooper as a weekend starter myself.

I only saw him throw a couple of sliders and they missed by 2’. Riley Cooper showed nasty stuff in his one inning. Reyzelman was hitting 99 in his one inning.

Floyd needs to follow Money's example and develop another pitch. He would be awesome.
Cooper looked so natural and will be a great reliever.

I think giving up the double shook him up a bit. He followed that up with two walks and looked like he lost focus.
