Good catchers are hard to get on campus. Neal in next year's class can do both, but he is a high draft risk. Priester could develop into both, but his situation is up in the air for next year.

I wouldn't be surprised if we use the portal next year for a catcher.

I still feel like other teams don’t struggle to get guys who can catch a ball in flight and at least be better than a PO offensively. Again, it’s like LSU fans begging for a qb who can hit a receiver in stride.

LSU has rarely had a catcher that isn’t at least above average defensively & at least average offensively. So that’s not really true. They always have great catchers.

Milazzo just isn’t good enough to be a catcher at LSU. But they are kind of stuck with him
