The old maxim: it is more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow applies to the Miata.

Put a set of R888s and some EBC Yellowstuff pads on a stock MX6 and it is more car than 99.99% of the population can exploit on a twisty road. An even better example is an Elise/Exige, even the low hp versions. Lightweight, modest power and laser-sharp steering makes for a fun street car. Colin Chapman is nodding.
