I don't have a problem with it because, somewhere else there was a victim of a crime that remains unsolved. What if that crime the rape victim did was murder or something else just as heinous.

In that case, why don't we gather DNA from every person when they are born, and store it in a database that can be cross referenced any time a crime is committed and DNA is available?
