How do you have a rental car and 10 hour layover? Was that planned on purpose? Are you going to have luggage or just a carry on?
That’s not that much time considering you will need 2.5 hours or more to park and go through security and what not.
I’d probably just drive around and grab a bite to eat.

add to that traffic in miami is insane, especially if you try to go anywhere near south beach.
