I will assume you don't know much about Canadian culture. There is a divide between easter. And western Canadian culture. There is also a divide between the French and English culture. Well, their Covid policy is all over the map. Their primers can't agree on anything and Quebec wants a full lock down, passports between providence, etc. to prove how woke they are. Their PM is trying to juggle this but it isn't working. So their "Trump" type supporters realized how much they mooched off the US. They can't manufacture goods, etc so we ship it through the Detroit Bridge. So this group just parked on the bridge and it is shutting down their entire economy

And another funny point, the Toronto and Quebec types loved to shite on us for how we handle protest. Well, these types are now wanting the US to come over and physically remove these guys because the Canadian gov doesn't have the physical capabilites

The majority of Canadians do NOT agree with what's going on right now.. most of the protesters are farmers or seasonal workers who don't have anything better to do then to cause s*** for other people trying to live their normal lives... It's gone to more of an occupation of downtown Ottawa the nation's capital.. the government is trying to drag their heels as they don't want this to turn into some sort of martyr situation for the protesters... The funny thing is though this protest comes a little late as most of the provinces in Canada now are going to be relaxing covid mandates and such... Seems to me the people I talk to can see the light at the end of the tunnel in life getting back to normal is the sense I get
