slow down to .5x speed and you can see George turn his head and look into his mirror and try to cut Gasly off. I'm not sure what the regulations are in the straights but George definitely initiated chicken and lost. Pierre could have lifted too, but you always run the risk of being the guy who always backs off. Ultimately you know the merc has more pace than your car, so Pierre should have lifted along with Russell not squeezing him.
