mr ed's fried chicken metairie location

seems like this place has been in the same state forever. cant seem to find any news if its still opening or if its an abandoned project. anyone got anything?

It actually did open for a few days back when they finished building out that space. There is still chairs stacked on tables inside, all the signage still in place. My guess is he doesn't have the staff to open it.

Ate lunch there on opening day and it was very good.
Rumor has it, that Mr Ed hired 21 new employees and trained them for 3 weeks at his other restaurants.
Gave all of them hats and uniforms.
Opening day only 4 of 21 showed up to work. So he had to borrow people from his other restaurants that day.
Day 2 only 3 of the 21 showed up. At the end of the day he closed it and may never re-open.
