that's usually the problem with this shite though. Writers and directors are concerned with this stuff at the expense of the scripts and stories.
People saw how that occurred with Wheel of Time.

Most people appeared to sour on that series pretty quick.

GeauxTigerTM’s link stated it pretty well.

There is an addiction people have to these books and properties.

Hollywood draws people in by using that and then pulls a bait and switch.

It is interesting how people keep holding out hope that Hollywood won’t screw this stuff up.

People love these properties for what they are, not what they should be.

I have no hope after Star Wars. They will destroy LOTR and make you despise it. And then blame you.

It's really a simple choice. If you actually have issues with what these corporations are doing, then you have to walk away. If you don't, then by all means enjoy what they are making for you.

But if you don't like it, you have to stop paying them to make more of it. I get it...I've loved many of these properties as well. Born in 1970 so I grew up with Star Wars, Raiders, Terminator, Alien, Predator, etc. I love those original movies and I'll always have them. But I'm done supporting anything new, because they have shown me and have told me they have no intention of trying to make those fans happy. "The Message" is more important. So, I'll walk away and look for new creators who are interested in story before checking boxes.

But Eric form the video makes a great point in regards to the new Spider-Man movie. That's bait. It's just designed to get you to fund their other shite.

But like I said...if you're on board with "The Message" then great, ignore my post. But if you're not, there's literally nothing to be gained by holding your nose and giving it a shot when you know deep down what they are doing. They no longer deserve the benefit of the doubt. They are telling you what their goal is...maybe listen?
