It's kind of funny really. People that don't agree with the Wade lovers just don't know basketball. Hell, most of us don't even want him fired yet, but just realize that he needs bench help that he as some weaknesses as a coach that will prevent us from ever being the best of the best. I think a lot of these Wade people confuse with being a very good recruiter with being a very good coach. Given LSU isn't a blue blood, he is a very good recruiter. He isn't really close to the best in terms of coaching that talent.

This is true, but most people miss the point. It’s not a matter of wanting Wade fired for any shortcomings. He’s made LSU a consistent tourney team. It’s too soon to demand he take us to Final Fours.
But all that is irrelevant. Scott Woodward is not enchanted with Will Wade and the vibe is the same as with Orgeron beginning in 2020. Woodward is not happy with the cloud hanging over the program with the “strong arse offer” stuff. If SW was thrilled with Wade, you’d better believe a huge extension would already have been offered and signed.
Wade will coach next season and not be extended. Woodward thinks ahead and no doubt is planning his next hire. But face facts. It’s not because Wade is a “bad coach.” But Woodward is not happy with his baggage and will not extend him.

I disagree with that expecting a final four. It wasn't like this was his first stop as a coach. He is in year 5 here as well and bringing in great talent. I've always felt his teams lack the discipline needed. That said, I'm not wanting him fired, and not demanding a final four. We do need some periodic deep runs. I believe next year will tell the tale. Should be loaded. If we have another short trny then he a pecan.

Team goes out there and plays one good half of basketball in a month and now will wade is a top coach in the country. Ok.
