Microsoft Edge - Can't Remove Text Box on Screen

When I use Edge, I get a small text box in the middle of the screen which reads "Enter Your Search Term":
I've googled and binged for solution. I found a microsoft site that gave step by step instructions for several different means - none of which have worked. (One recommendation did work temporarily, but when I opened Edge again, there was the text box.)
Anyone have any suggestions?

First google result I got was a third party search tool installed can cause it. Check your installed programs for any web search tools and uninstall.

Thanks. I did see that in my search, but am somewhat hesitent to download. I'll give it some more thought.
