If there are multiple bidders for CJ, I hope to King Cake Baby we take a pass. Hopefully we'll be a $$ filler in a 3 way trade and can land us a Huerter/Holiday tier player.
If Griff could turn the Lonzo deal into Graham AND whoever we trade Sato for, it would sit a lot better with me.
Bronc was right; Lonzo >> Graham. I think I may like Graham for the team chemistry more, though.

My whole thing was never Lonzo is better than Graham(Though he is), it was that it could/should have been Lonzo + Graham.
Retain the asset in Lonzo and move him when the oppurtunity arises. Which, Lonzo for McCollum or Simons would sort of be the type of move I was talking about.
Lonzo didnt have to be your forever guy, but even at 20 mil and an injury, teams would still love his production and fits in with a lot of rosters.
In a world where we matched, Lonzo for McCollum or Simons would be an easy sell for Portland. Replace McCollum with the 3 and D guard they've always needed for 10 million less a year

Lonzo is definitely better than Graham. Did people honestly think any differently? The financial flexibility was part of the reasoning why we made that “trade”
