Probably not. But there’s a difference between the old coaches going 0-28 and the new coaches winning the SEC and not missing the tourney since year 1 (this year TBD)

Why are you so obsessed with just making the tourney? He brings in great talent no one is arguing that. He should be in top 64. It's what he does once there. If he starts making some runs, then I'll give him a lot more credit.

thanks, you made my point for me - which was the "he's better than his predecessors" excuse is a fair argument, but only for a couple years.

But after a couple years, that argument has to go away and he has to be judged on his performance, relative to the talent he brings here.

Would Nick Saban be judged a success if he went 9-3 at Bama? That's certainly better than his predecessor.
