so just to clear some things up
IF is great and i have been using it for years but some people get very anxious on it. so watch that. if you do start getting anxious, put breakfast back in.
IF is just a strategy to control calories. In the end all that matters is calorie and protein intake. IF works because its hard to eat that many calories in that short amount of time.
16:8 is what works for most people, personally i prefer about 4-5 hour eating window
when doing IF, priotize protein and keep the meals simple.
The talk about weighing lasgana and foods like that are why those types of meals should be very far and few between. Thiings like rice and gravy, most cajun dishs, most italian dishes should be once a week meals at most.
i suggest feeling 1/2 a plate full of veggies, 1/4 plate with protein and then using the other 1/4 for either fruit, starch or fats
also if you are not lifitng weights or even if you are and arent using a progressive overload system to get stronger....you are leaving things that will make you feel way better on the table.
