Weigh your food and keep track using MyFitnessPal. Your body loses weight when you’re in a calorie deficit, fasting or not.

IF is a great way to manage calories if you’re disciplined for it. Many people overeat due to the hunger involved. Even a few too many bites can take you out of a calorie deficit.

Think about stepping up to alternate day fasting. It will bring you to the next level.
