I agree and Brand doesn't matter as long as they are clean and shined up. I usually wear black with tuxes. You can even get buy wearing ropers with the short heal as long as they look good.

You people are the hoi polloi.

There are certain social rules that generally should be followed when wearing tuxes. Those rules can be bent or even broken by certain people. Generally, your typical OT poster is not someone who should be bending or breaking those rules.

The quote is about wearing boots with a tux.

Millionaires , Stock holders, Company Ceo's, Politicians etc.?

I'll have to disagree.

Ive stood toe to toe at events with the common joes to millionaires, stock holders, company ceo's, private company owners and politicians etc. and in many cases they were wearing boots with their tux and no one cared. Either way custom made shoes or boots its all the same to me.
