Looking for something due to our current TV having lighting issues. I think I could take the TV apart and replace the lighting, but not really looking forward to spending $100 to fix...rather just be in the market for a new TV I guess.

I bought a 65" SonyXR-65X90J last week and installed yesterday. Did a lot of comparison reviews and it rated highly for what I needed. It's in a living room with a lot of windows so I passed on OLED. I bought it through Costco.
They had Hisense series "R7G5" on the shelf that the picture looked really good. Will probably pick one up when I mount a TV outstide.
