There's a difference between blaming the victim and saying to pull your head out of your arse. If you choose to live in this city YOU have to be responsible enough to do simple shite like lock your doors when you get in your car. Or maybe don't leave your keys in the ignition when you're alone and get out to get gas.

You might like it, but because of where this happened he is correct. Would you go in the jungle not paying attention to your surroundings and be upset because you got attacked by a lion?
