Sure, but I'd wager that's not the majority of gamers, or at least gamers that spend a lot of time and money in-game. Most are kids or young adults.

Pay-to-win was always antithetical to fair gaming, so it moved onto skins and cosmetics. That will likely only accelerate with NFTs. Though, at least it makes a market where you can potentially earn cosmetics and sell them on an NFT market. Whether gamers actually want that or not.. idk. Depending on how it shakes out, it could be a net negative to gaming in general.

Agree. It definitely can work both ways.

I'm not worried about ethics in games. I just want to turn it on and play. I won't miss a second of sleep if some 15 year old is mad that I beat him down with some machine gun I bought for 20 bucks instead of spending countless hours grinding for it.
