That has often been the norm under Wade. Taylor, Manning, O'Neal, now Pinson. You don't hear any news suggesting the injuries are "bad". In fact, with Pinson, Wade came out quickly and said it wasn't serious. Yet, the guys just miss game, after game, after game.....
Pinson's injury looked season ending the moment it happened and his and his teammates' reactions suggested the same. Certainly that doesn't appear to be the case. But it is also true that Wade's immediate response looks to have been far more optimistic than reality.
