The Rams are coming off a Super Bowl and have their core intact. If the Saints do acquire Watson they will have to send out a shitload of assets and cut ties with others. Any NFC South team is going to be gambling a lot to get Watson and likely won’t make the playoffs in 2022 with Brady coming back (unless he gets hurt).

Wow a classic goal post move, big shocker but misses the point, though that’s not surprising given your limited understanding. The Saints were the Rams holding onto a 17 point lead in a meaningful game for the Rams, away from making the playoffs. The Ravens were 2 games back, not missing on tie breakers. Next the Bengals beat the Raiders so even if the Ravens had a 3 game swing they still make the playoffs, Cincinnati also benched all their starters week 18 if they need to win to make the playoffs they would not have done that.

But again congrats on saying the Saints wouldn’t make the playoffs we know that’s all you have in life
