You'll probably see more roster turnover than expected simply because that is the nature of college sports today.
IMO, the biggest question of whether or not LSU can take the next step to being a truly great program is is Wade is willing to be flexible? So far he has shown he hasn't.
For 4 season Wade never deviated from his defensive approach. This, despite the fact his personnel wasn't suited to execute it at a high level. The result was 4 years of bad to really bad defensive teams. This year the personnel matches up with the approach. It has produced stunningly great results. Unfortunately.....
that same personnel doesn't fit LSU's offensive approach of the last 4 years. As a result, it has produced far and away the worst offensive team of the Wade era. This team just doesn't have the personnel to play an almost exclusively ball screen oriented offense. They just don't have guys who can make a ton of plays on their own.
In each of the last 4 seasons perhaps just some minor adjustments in the style of play on the deficient side of the ball could have paid great dividends. But as it stands, LSU looks to be a team that seemingly can be elite on one side of the ball...but terrible on the other.

Thats not true. He even said himself on one of the podcasts that they switched the defense before last season to the switching on every screen, matchup zone like defense.
