Ida has it looking worse this year than normal. We’re still pulling trees out of the woods from areas where we probably lost a good 35% of the standing hardwood. It’s not that bad everywhere, and the pine thickets fared just fine. But, between the storm and this being about the deadest part of Louisiana’s winter, I’m seeing way too many glimpses of light from my neighbors. Still have a mile between us, but I like to pretend neighbors don’t exist.
