Exactly. He actually expressed regret for those initial teachings, and acknowledged he was brainwashed at the time. It was quite an astounding admission for a man who was entrenched in such militant, hateful dogma for years.

It would've been fascinating to see how his beliefs would have continued to evolve over the years.
