The show in general doesn’t really execute emotional beats very well, I think because most of the show is so sarcastic/meta and they don’t really commit to it enough for it to be worth the effort. Similar to Marvel on some of their movies undercutting every emotional scene with a joke.

Which is fine by me, we don’t really need everything to be a dramedy, just the few moments they’ve attempted to make it like that, it hasn’t been the shows best

The intro of this show might be the best thing on TV. It’s mesmerizing to the point I’ll look it up on YouTube every now and then because the song kicks arse and the dancing is hypnotic

I thought they did a great job with the emotional scene at the end of episode four. They nailed it with the song choice and acting.
