Lets just face it. Nick is building a power house over there and LSU is not going any where any time soon. We will be battling for the west for the foreseeable futrue.

They didn't perform like one yesterday and their close victory over the mighty Green Wave looks less impressive after Tulane was blown out by Army.
Clemson seems to have been vastly overrated and Arkansas really sucks.
A good half against Georgia they have accomplished.

Strength of teams go in cycles and for an undefeated National Champ I say we are looking pretty freakin decent. You are not going to rule the world every year, but you can sure as hell try.

Alabama has a good team. LSU and Bama will be going back and forth in the near future. But to say LSU is going nowhere qualifies you as an idiot.

Let's cool down there chief. Nick will have the same problems he had at LSU.
Nick is a transitional manager (takes crap situations and turns it into a winner on his sheer attitude).
Nick is NOT a success manager. Les is more a success manager (could be argued he's both given Ok State).
Nick gets Bama up in next few years, but losses control over his team after he fails to reach the potential of all his recruits. Sound familiar?
And, yes. He did have a NC at LSU. The stars alighed for him and the program that year. Lets see what happens this year, because the next few will be rocky with a FRESH QB back there.

As far as I'm concerned, LSU is the team coming off a national championship.All of the SEC is envious of the talent base in Louisiana, especially it's speed. Recuiting base has expanded to Fla. and Texas. Players want to come to LSU. Les Miles' reputation as a solid coach and a gambler has had an effect nationwide. LSU is #1 until somebody better comes along!!!
