Has there been any word on whether or not they'll be resuming with the Wally Pontiff Jr. Classic? The only thing I could find on it is this article in The Advocate from last April.

The Advocate - WP, Jr Classic

4/19 - home game vs ULL
4/26 - away game at UNO

I guess one of these could get moved to the shrine.

It won't be in zephyr stadium. That's a rugby field now.

I think that game has ended even before covid would have wiped it out
They can raise money other ways - like golf tourneys and auctions or maybe thru a Jesuit high school tourney
Not to sound insensitive but LSU gave up a home game and revenue from that event and had to find a willing participant to do the same - Tulane and Ull were gracious enough to help out with that endeavor over the years and sometimes southern miss and even rice
I think LSU has gone above and beyond to support that event

I think it is important to continue this game for reasons beyond $$. This is bigger than any Number 7 or 18 thing in football in my opinion.

I was on the list for new season tickets, got this email yesterday saying I can buy season tickets and later in the email talks about flex pass and Wally Pontiff game.

Also available will be a mobile flex pass. This mobile flex pass will guarantee you a bleacher seat for every regular season home game (excluding the Wally Pontiff Classic) for the 2022 season.
