Round Rock is fine. Vandergrift, Cedar Park, Hutto, Lake Travis, basically any suburban school is a college compared to Louisiana public schools. The inner city public schools get a bad rap here, but are pristine compared to La. Bowie High in south Austin is a great school as well. If you don’t mind a commute. My pick would be San Marcos, New Braunfells.
This is the right answer. I have lived and raised kids in New Braunfels and Hutto/ Pflugerville area. All of the above. New quite a bit of Bowie adults and they are great people. As well as the others listed.
