I have a June trip scheduled but I’m just going to cancel. Hawaii isn’t even close to being worth being coerced into a booster that offers a negligible amount of protection against the virus. At some point the coercive nature of this thing is a deal killer. For me that time is now.imma just go back to Costa Rica or do some mainland domestic trips.

yeah this is the last time I'm heading to Hawaii for a good bit. Taking two elderly family members that have been through a lot within the last two years (one lost house in house fire, another dealt with an incredibly fricked up family situation). Neither have been to Hawaii in their life and after going to Hawaii in 2019, I feel like I should give them their best chance at seeing the Island before its too late.

We are scheduled to leave for Hawaii on Saturday. I’m ready to cancel.

If I fly to a mainland spot and am prevented from flying home, I can rent a car to get back. I’m not that good of a swimmer.
