re: Does anyone actually believe that was a real cry?

Wasn't the whole quote "I believe I'm the best quarterback" which sounds crazy and he is wrong but to be successful athlete you have to have that kind of confidence/arrogance? Especially considering he is a former walk on who could have easily called it a day/career once he got a whiff of the stiff competition around him?
