re: Possible identity fraud?

Yeah, mysterious enough to make you wonder what’s up, but there is so much fake stuff and information phishing scams that it could be anything.
After actually having my personal information stolen and having someone try to rip off my name and credit history, I don’t take any chances anymore, I keep it locked and still check with the credit bureaus once a year. That was the scariest, worst financial nightmare I’d ever dealt with and the thought of having everything you have wiped out 2 years into retirement was frightening.
