Will NOT be required to be vaccinated. Said that pending further developments, we will be required to get tested as of Feb 9th.

Same for us but we've been told we have to wear masks full time starting tomorrow if there was no ruling. Nothing like trying to work with a lack of fresh air. Production will take a hit.

we were told that as of jan 10th we need to let them know what our current vax is and if we are not vaxed we need a negative test to come to work. unless something changes.

Filed an exemption.

But why are some organizations still acting like the vax makes you safe to be around....IT DOES NOT!!!!!!!

No, they aren't. Companies are worried they will have more attrition of hourly staff than they can handle.
If they weren't worried about totally collapsing their business, they'd have dove on the mandate train as soon as the vac was available
Eta: and right now, they are ALL trying to figure out how to restructure the business to live without the non-conforming trash infesting it.

Every day? If not what's the use of even being tested? Test negative on Monday and get the crud on Tues. and then how long before they make you test again? How do they think that accomplishes anything?

This is true, my company said we would be fired Jan 10th if not vaxed. When they realized they would have to replace 3,000 engineers and scientists, they backed off.
