The final scene is seen through Tony's eyes. Everything you see is from Tony's POV. When the screen goes to black, you're seeing what Tony sees.

That’s your opinion. But that’s not true according to David Chase. He’s directly says on multiple occasions that it was intentionally left to the viewer’s interpretation.
He did have another finale where Tony got killed. You don’t see him get killed, but there is a direct implication. They chose not to go with that one. Instead they left it up to the viewers. He said this one gave a glimpse of how Tony would live the rest of his days, however long that may be. Always looking over his shoulder wondering if he was about to die. Pretty genius if you ask me.
