He quit the team and he did it early so as an LSU fan, he quit on the team that I like and support emotionally and financially and I have little reason to like that. I support a team, not a player.

I appreciate some of what he did while he was here but he’s kinda dead to me

I can very easily see both “sides of the coin” when it comes to his LSU legacy. However, I can 10000% guarantee that if he goes to the league and has the kind of success and career that PP7 has had, the contingent of the fan base that looks at him as “thanks for 2019 then quit” will drop off to almost zero. They will proudly proclaim him as another great ambassador of the program and prime example of the elite tradition of DBU.

If he busts or has an otherwise injury-riddled mediocre career, (ala Fournette sans his rookie/current season) he will always own the moniker.
