I think he was a key piece of our 2019 championship run.
I think he battled injuries in 2020 and missed a lot of time. The one thing I fault him for that year was his “reaction” prior to the Moo State game, assuming the rumors were true.
I think he continued to battle injuries in 2021. And despite what a ton of folks want to believe, I don’t think there’s a snowball’s chance in hell that he had a completely unnecessary surgery in the middle of his money year just so he could opt out of the rest of the season.
I also think a lot of LSU fans will never think that highly of him again 1) because he came in with sky-high expectations and actually lived up to them during his freshman year, and 2) because his dad went on the radio and said a lot of stupid shite.
It is what it is, but I’m glad he played here and I hope he has a phenomenal NFL career.

Rumor was it was a Lisfranc injury which is kinda significant. I’m sure we’ll hear more (and probably get some specifics) around draft time.
