I was in Portland in October and it wasn’t cold at all. Not sure about Caribou, but I’m sure summers are awesome. Winters would suck though.

It's the oldest state in the country. Not a great place to be a young single guy unless you are in Portland. If you're going to be in Northern Maine, might as well go all in and move to Canada.

Inland, we will often see 70-90F in mid June to mid August. It can be really temperate. It can be a real bitch.
