I agree but -

Head coaches and coordinators can leave once the season is over.... the kids should be able to as well.

I would really love a couple of rules implemented -

Head Coaches and coordinators cannot leave current jobs until 3 days AFTER the National Championship game.

Players scholarships are good from 3 days AFTER the NC and through the next NC. One you begin the year on a roster, you must full-fill your 1 year. If a player opts to transfer.... they cannot receive benefits/scholarship or enroll at a new school until 3 days AFTER the NC.

Kind of like in the NFL... there should be a league year.

Why? I get that they can now, but why should they be able to? No American sports league allows it. What makes college football different? The fact that they openly get paid now only accentuates that question.
